Molex MX150 Sealed and Unsealed Connectors
Molex presents the MX150 Sealed and Unsealed Connectors, offering engineers in the ICE and EV automotive industries a solution to save space and cost while meeting demanding EPA regulations. These connectors meet USCAR standards for on-engine, high vibration, under-hood, and under-chassis environments at class three temperatures.
In addition, Molex offers Hybrid Sealed Connectors in various configurations, providing flexibility while adhering to multiple USCAR standards. These connectors can replace traditional USCAR connectors with MX150 connectors for automakers' signal and power applications.
Key features of the MX150 connector include a pre-assembled Terminal Position Assurance housing that ensures secure locking of crimped terminal leads, a grommet cap for protecting the mat seal and ensuring proper terminal alignment, and mat seal technology that eliminates the need for individual cable seals. Custom features offer additional design flexibility to meet specific requirements.
The MX150 connector is based on the 1.50 millimeter ISO blade-type terminal system and is available in three finish options. This design lowers costs by eliminating the need to source and manage individual component inventory or crimp wire seals individually. With an operational range of minus 40 to plus 150 degrees Celsius, a current rating of up to 22.0A, and meeting vibration class V3, the MX150 Connector Systems are highly capable.
The MX150 Connector System finds application in a wide range of automotive and commercial vehicle components, including transmissions, battery packs, battery sensors, AC modules, airbag harnesses, speedometers, and more. It offers high-quality and reliable connections in harsh environments, with a proven track record in the industry. Designers often choose the MX150 as their go-to solution.
