SRAM group has QDR specRichard WilsonAn SRAM technology consortium incorporating Cypress Semiconductor, IDT and Micron Technology has completed the first product specifications based on the group's Quad Data Rate (QDR) SRAM high bandwidth memory architecture for communications applications. The first QDR products will be capable of performance up to 333 MHz data rates. The QDR Consortium defined initial roadmaps and migration paths spanning to the 128Mbit density, as well as product development for future bandwidth improvements.
